About Us

The Rowan University Ballroom Dance Club was founded by Eugene LaPierre, a professor at Rowan! The club had a slow start until about 2015 when Krystal Bradley, a now Rowan Alumni, became president and helped the Ballroom club become what it is today. The Ballroom Club is now a traveling Rowan University Sports Club competitive team! We travel across the eastern seaboard and as far west as Ohio! Although we love to compete because it is so much fun, we are also a social dance club! We have classes for dancers of all levels and dance goals - whether it's just learning the basic step or competing!
Our club values sportsmanship and a sense a family amongst our members. We always support each other, cheer each other on, and are there for each other! Besides our classes and competitions, we also enjoy team bonding events, fundraising, and helping our community in any way that we can! If your interested learn more about what we do or how to join the club, don't hesitate to reach out!

Our Mission
The Rowan University Ballroom Club aims to teach various dance styles and also the beauty of the performing arts. We also work closely with Ballroom Dancing 4 A Better U - a 501 (c)(3) charity bringing ballroom dancing to people with special needs and senior citizens in our community.
